Who We See
We start with your child's needs and build outward. When it works for the child facing the greatest restrictions, it works better for everyone who shows up.
The parent who has carried their child across wheel-trapping woodchips one too many times. Here, smooth poured rubber goes all the way through.
The family that turned around in the parking lot because there was no quiet space. We thought about that family before we planned a single activity.
Kids who want to be on the same equipment as their brother or sister. Here, there is only one play zone.
Elders with limited mobility who want to walk right into the play zone and be there with their grandkids. Not 50 feet away. Right there.
And at the deepest level
We serve families navigating the quiet, relentless weight of survival mode. The medical bills. The therapy schedules. The constant advocacy. People who need somewhere to pause the daily chaos and bank the memories that will carry them through their hardest days.
"Thank you Kidstuff for the most fabulous fishing and family fun day ever! I think it was the best event yet! Thank you to all volunteers for providing such a great day for families."
Claire Dees, KidStuff Family · Family Fun & Fishing FestivalWhat We Build
Something Is Being Built
Every dollar raised moves us closer to the day a child rolls onto that playground and realizes it was built because of them.
Not for them. Because of them.
Every dollar is progress. Every family that plays on that playground will be there because someone decided to show up.

Our Story
It started with a man who noticed basketball goals in his community had no nets. He did not wait for someone else to fix it. He reached into his own pocket and bought them. Twenty years later, that instinct still runs this organization.
What we curate
The asking is the injury.
The barrier is not the parking lot. The barrier is the conversation they have to have to justify their child's right to be there. We remove that cost entirely. Before they arrive.
The space already knew you were coming.
Not accommodation. Not a ramp bolted on. A day designed from the beginning around the family who needed it most. When it works for that family, it works for everyone.
Some memories carry families through.
On the hard night in the hospital room. On the day the weight is heaviest. The afternoon that just worked is what a family reaches for. We build those days.
Leadership
Thirty years of knowing where every barrier is. And how to get around it.
Thirty years in special education teaches you something. Most people talk about showing up. Allison just does it. And then stays. As a teacher, a Buddies Ministry Coordinator, and an IEP navigator for families who need someone to walk the system beside them, she has spent her career standing between families and the barriers that should not exist. She is patient the way only someone who has truly seen people can be. She is the kind of steady presence that makes the hard thing feel doable.
She knows this from the inside.
Jessica Armstrong is a mother of five, a caregiver, and advocate. Which means she has lived, at close range, what it costs a family to navigate a world not built for them. She did not come to this work by studying it. She came to it by surviving it and deciding that what she learned mattered too much to keep to herself. That conviction has grown into fifteen years of coaching and leadership. Because she believes people are more capable than they have been told. She knows the difference between performing a purpose and living one.
She is the one who figures out how.
Dania Brown does not wait to be asked. She built a business from nothing. She coaches teenage girls in volleyball. She gives to her community in ways that are rarely announced and never for recognition. What all of it has in common: she is always the one who figures out how. As Director of Finance and Strategy, that is what she does for KidStuff-USA. She takes the vision and makes it buildable. The specifics. The structure. The path from here to there. She does all of it out of love. Which means she never stops.
Twenty years of showing up
KidStuff-USA is founded. One man. One pocket. Basketball nets for a community that had none. The question gets asked for the first time: what does this family actually need?
Nineteen years of showing up. Family Fun and Fishing Festivals across Georgia. Christmas gifts for children in South Africa. Orphanage support in Moldova. Power bills paid. Funerals funded. Wherever there was a need, they answered it.
A nineteen-year legacy finds new hands. Allison Reeves, Jessica Armstrong, and Dania Brown step forward. The mission is the same. The instinct is the same. The runway just got longer. In 2025, it became us.
Gum Springs Park. Family Fun Day in Jefferson. The Legacy Scholarship. Every one of them is the same instinct Lamar had in 2006: notice what is missing, and go get it. The mission is not just continuing. It is compounding.
Our core values
How we think
When you start with the most restricted and build out from there, it works for all. The curb cut is the clearest example. Nobody intended to help stroller parents or skateboarders. They intended to help wheelchair users. When they solved that problem completely, they made life easier for everyone who came after.
KidStuff-USA does this in every decision. Start with the child facing the most restrictions. Build from there. When it works for that child, every sibling plays. Every parent relaxes. Every grandparent on the bench that used to be fifty feet from the action is suddenly in it.
It takes someone willing to launch it. A steady hand to guide it. A community working together to keep it moving forward. The kite is our children and our community. Full of potential. Ready to soar. The wind is opportunity. The string is KidStuff-USA.
Every person who joins us becomes part of the team holding the string. Some give time. Some give resources. Some simply believe in the vision. Together we do not just fly a kite. We help our community soar.
The vision: A community where the kite always flies.
KidStuff-USA · Programs
Every playground. Every event. Every scholarship. All of it is one thing: the afternoon that carries a family through.
The Day the barriers are gone. The Day your whole family is in it together. Not split between the ones who play and the ones who watch. The Day everything is just easy for once.
We are not building parks and events. We are building the memory that carries a family through.
The Anchor
Events have a window. A park does not. It waits.
When that family finally arrives, the first thing they notice is the silence of effortless motion.
Wheels rolling across a flat, vibrant surface from the parking lot all the way to the heart of the playground. No dad bending down to haul a wheelchair through six inches of mulch. No mom bracing herself to carry a child who keeps getting harder to carry. No stopping. No jerking. No detour. The child simply moves forward, under their own power, completely free.
And the parents let their shoulders drop. Maybe for the first time in a long time.
That is an inclusive playground. Not a ramp bolted on. The addition designed from the start, around the family who needed it most. Permanent. Unshakable. Physical proof that they were remembered, expected, and invited home.
Our first sanctuary is an addition to Gum Springs Park in Jefferson, Georgia, designed in partnership with Jackson County Parks and Recreation. The renderings are done. Fundraising is active.
"When you design for the child who needs it most, you build something better for everyone who shows up."
The Heartbeat
The fleeting, electric moment when a family stops calculating and starts belonging.
Before we had a park, we had the question: what does this family actually need right now? The answer was a chance to be together in something easy. Not split between the ones who play and the ones who watch. All of them, in the middle of something good.
We set the stage wherever families are. A park on a summer afternoon. A gym in December. The setting does not matter. What matters is the intention behind every choice: Can she reach it? Is there somewhere quiet when the sound gets to be too much? Is the ground solid? We answer those questions before families arrive. So when they walk in, the calculation is already done. They are just here.
The Day does not wait for a permanent address. And neither do we.
What happened that afternoon
"The heat came. The storm came. And in between, something truly beautiful happened at that park."
The Legacy
Two students in Georgia will open a door this year that almost did not open for them.
The Lamar and Jean Holley Legacy Scholarship carries the name of the couple who handed us this mission. They led KidStuff-USA for 19 years. When they passed the work to us, they made sure the scholarship came with it.
Each award is paid directly to the institution of choice. Because when someone who looks like you is building something better, you start to believe the door is open for you too.

Organizations that have stood with us
Want to bring your organization into the KidStuff-USA story?
The North Star
Every park. Every event. Every scholarship. Every partner who stands with us. Each one is a piece of something the ground cannot show you.
We are building toward a permanent KidStuff-USA home. From the most restricted life outward. Where The Day is not an event on a calendar. But a place. Waiting on the family, whenever they are ready.
Corporate Partnership
We are inviting you into something that will change what your employees carry home with them and talk about on Monday morning.
When your organization partners with KidStuff-USA, you don’t get a logo on a banner. You get your people in a place that will change them. Your name in a story that will outlast any campaign. And a community that will never forget who showed up for them.
What These Families Actually Live
Every morning, a parent calculates. Not the big things. The small ones. The surface at the playground. Whether there is a path from the parking lot that will not require stopping to explain. Whether the bathroom will work. Whether anyone there will look at their child with the particular kind of pity that requires managing a stranger’s feelings on top of everything else they are already carrying.
This calculation happens before they leave the house. It has happened before every park, every school event, every family outing for as long as they can remember. Most of the time, they do not try. Not because they gave up. Because they are exhausted.
KidStuff-USA removes the friction. We build spaces starting with the child facing the most restrictions. When we get it right for that child, every member of that family gets a day that just works. No advocacy moment required. No permission surrendered to a stranger.
For 20 years, KidStuff-USA has been part of this community. The relationships. The events. The quiet upgrades at parks families depend on. That history is the foundation everything we are building now stands on.
Playground Partnerships
Annual giving that directly funds the inclusive playground at Gum Springs Park. These partnerships are permanent. The concrete and equipment will be there long after any campaign ends.
Event Sponsorship
Per-event giving. Your support makes a specific family fun day possible. Priced per event.
Unrestricted
Unrestricted giving. We deploy it where the need is greatest: operational capacity, equipment, and wherever the gap is. If you want to give and none of the tiers fit what you have in mind, this is the right home. Recognition is private or named at your choice.

There is something that happens when one of your employees stands beside a child who has never had a place built for them. When they see a parent exhale for the first time in years. When someone looks at them and says thank you. Not for the donation. For showing up in person.
That is not a team-building exercise. That is purpose. And purpose is something your employees are looking for whether they know it or not.
Families living with different abilities have spent years noticing who shows up for them and who doesn’t. They remember. They tell their people: caregivers, siblings, neighbors, therapists, church communities. That network is larger than most organizations realize, and every person in it is paying attention.
When your organization partners with KidStuff-USA, you become part of something that will outlast any campaign or fiscal year. That’s not a marketing argument. That’s just what happens when you show up for people who needed it.
Pamela Landwirth spent decades leading one of the most recognized family-focused nonprofits in the country. She watched what happened to corporate partners over time. Companies often focused more on what a contribution would cost than what they would gain. What they gained was not a tax deduction and a banner.
She watched a national moving company send their president to volunteer. He met a family. He met a child. When that child passed away two months later, the company named a landmark after him and changed their company motto permanently. Not as a PR move. Because something had shifted in who they were as an organization.
That is not the outcome of a sponsorship. That is the outcome of a partnership. Your employees will talk about what they saw. They will not stop talking about it. And the families they served will carry that day for the rest of their lives.
We’d love to tell you more about what a partnership with KidStuff-USA looks like for your organization, your team, and the families you’ll be standing with. Reach out and we’ll take it from there.

The Day your whole family is in it together. Not the ones who can play and the ones who watch. All of you. That day has a home now. 4889 State Hwy 124, Jefferson, Georgia.
Why This Park
Think about what it takes to get your family to a park. The planning that starts before you even leave the house. The exit strategy you build before you arrive. The moment you realize your child cannot reach what everyone else is reaching. This park is the answer to all of that. Designed in partnership with Jackson County Parks & Recreation, built for whoever needs it most, which means it works for everyone. No workarounds. No separate section. One park where your whole family shows up and just plays.
How We Think
When you design from the most restricted outward, something unexpected happens. The solution that works for the child facing the most barriers ends up working better for everyone who comes after.
The curb cut is the clearest example. It was built for wheelchair users. Stroller parents use it every day. So do delivery workers, cyclists, and anyone hauling something heavy. Nobody planned for them. They just solved the problem completely for the person who needed it most. And that turned out to matter for everyone.
KidStuff-USA made the same decision at Gum Springs Park. Not which features are compliant. Which equipment begins with the child who faces the most restrictions, and builds outward from there. When it works for that child, every sibling plays alongside them. Every parent sits next to other parents instead of across a fence. Every grandparent is part of the moment instead of fifty feet from it.
That is how we curate the day. We start where it is hardest, and build until there is room for everyone.
The Renderings
These are not concepts. This is the confirmed GameTime design for Gum Springs Park. What you see is what gets built. Every piece of it designed so everyone can reach it.
Follow Our Progress
Every milestone, every decision, every step forward. Right here. This is not just a construction project. It is a promise becoming physical. Come back. Watch it grow.

August 15, 2026 · Gum Springs Park · Jefferson, GA
The heat came. The storm came. And in between, something truly beautiful happened at that park.
The Day
Foam parties. Bounce houses. Touch-A-Truck with real firefighters and their rigs. Bubble zones. Chalk art that stretched across every inch of sidewalk it could find. Food trucks. Every station had a line the whole time it was open.
Every parent that came set something down. That is the part that surprised most of them. Somewhere between the bounce house and the bubble station, the vigilance went quiet. The explaining. The bracing. The waiting for someone to stare. For a few hours there was just the afternoon.
And there were the brothers and sisters. The ones who have learned to go quiet, to need less, to be patient in waiting rooms and at birthday parties that weren't quite right for everyone. That afternoon they got to be loud. First in line. Just a kid next to their sibling. That part surprised a lot of parents too.
And then the sky had other plans. The storm came fast and it came loud and it brought our afternoon to an earlier end than any of us wanted. But what happened between 1:00 PM and that first rumble of thunder? That was everything.
Special Guest
From the Gwinnett Stripers. He came as a kindness. And you could tell he was just as excited to be there as the kids were to meet him. The moment they spotted him, everything else stopped. That kind of joy is hard to manufacture and impossible to fake.
He was exactly what the afternoon needed. We were honored to have him.
Special Guests
Kids lined up. Kids who are not always excited about new faces lined up. Balloons, face paint, laughter that surprised the parents watching. Some of those kids walked away quieter than they came in. The good kind of quiet.
Truckapalooza
Five trucks showed up. Jackson Trail Fire Department, Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Jackson EMC, Larry's Wrecker Service, and White Oak Sanitation brought real equipment and let families get up close. No ropes. No barriers. Just everyone in it together.
Family Fun Day 2026 Sponsors
These organizations said yes before the day arrived. That's what makes them different from the rest.
Because of them, families who rarely get a day like this had one. Their logos were on signage. And the families who were there remember exactly who showed up for them.

Volunteers
Events like this don't run on good intentions. They run on people who show up, roll up their sleeves, and refuse to let a family feel like an afterthought.
In-Kind Donations
12Stone Church and Southeast Connections showed up with in-kind support that went straight into the hands of families. Generosity like that does not go unnoticed.
A note from KidStuff-USA
You answered the call before we had everything figured out. You showed up. You helped. You shared. You believed in what we were trying to build when it was still more hope than reality.
None of this happens without you in our corner. Not the playground. Not the day. Not any of it.
We are grateful for you. We do not take that for a single second for granted.
With love,
The KidStuff-USA Team

The Legacy Scholarship
Two $500 awards. Every year. One for a Georgia resident living with a disability. One for someone dedicating their career to serving people with different abilities. Both rooted in the same belief: the people closest to the hardest challenges are the ones who make everything better for everyone. Lamar and Jean Holley spent years fighting for families that needed someone in their corner. This scholarship carries their name and their spirit forward.
About This Scholarship
This is not a large scholarship. It was never meant to be. It was meant to say something true every single year: the people living with the greatest challenges, and the people who dedicate themselves to serving them, are not afterthoughts. They are the starting point. They are the reason everything works better for everyone. Here is something to help. We see you.
Who This Is For
You are pursuing higher education. A degree, a certification, a future. You are a Georgia resident. You have a disability. You have a story, and it matters. This scholarship was built with you in mind.
You are studying education, therapy, healthcare, social work, adaptive recreation, or any field where you will spend your career making the world more accessible and more human. This scholarship is for you too.
Why This Name
Lamar and Jean didn't wait for someone else to show up for families that needed help. They just showed up. For 19 years. This scholarship is named after them because that kind of commitment is why this name belongs on something lasting.

Give
Every family that ever came to a KidStuff-USA event did so because someone made it possible. Your gift is not a donation to a playground. It is what makes it possible for a parent to exhale. For a child to just play. For a family to carry something good home for a rainy day. We start with the families who need it most. Your support is what lets us keep building.
Where Your Gift Goes
Each one of these amounts does something real. Pick yours.
A ripple that joins thousands of others. Every dollar pools into something a family feels the day they arrive.
Activity supplies so one person can participate fully. Not watching. Not on the sideline.
One family's complete experience. From the moment they arrive to the last goodbye. All of it.
The accessibility accommodations that change what the day is for a family. Lifts, specialized equipment, sensory supports.
Supports a full event day's logistics so every detail lands right and no family notices how hard that was to pull off.
Your name becomes part of the story of Gum Springs Park. Permanent. On the ground. Right there where children play.
